WAFCON: Egypt vs Malawi – Prediction & Betting Tips

Group C has been delivering some of the most intriguing fixtures of the 2026 CAF WAFCON tournament thus far. The second round of the group stages continues as Egypt take on Malawi, with both sides arriving off vastly different opening results. The Scorchers produced one of the biggest upsets of the tournament by defeating defending champions Nigeria 3–2, with Temwa and Tabitha Chawinga once again proving why they are among Africa’s most dangerous attacking partnerships.  

Momentum is firmly with Malawi heading into this clash, but Egypt have enough quality to make this a far more competitive contest than their opening result might suggest.
