Milan sit second in Serie A. However, a dire recent run has seen them fall 12 points behind Inter Milan. After a 0-0 draw vs Como, they were on a 24-match unbeaten run in the league, albeit with nine draws during that streak. A 1-0 home loss to Parma was a damaging result to their title hopes. They bounced back to win 2-0 at Cremonese and 1-0 at home to Inter.

At that stage, they were seven points off the summit. They lost 1-0 away to Lazio and then beat Torino 3-2 at home. A tame 1-0 defeat at Napoli was a big blow. Despite having 20 shots, they lost 3-0 at home to Udinese to end their title hopes. Last weekend, they ground out a 1-0 win at Verona.

After winning 1-0 at Udinese, they could only draw 1-1 at home vs Sassuolo. Three straight wins have followed, beginning with a 2-0 home win over Genoa. They won 1-0 at Atalanta despite being outshot 22-7. Last Sunday, they cruised to a 2-0 home win over Bologna.

Dusan Vlahovic and Arkadiusz Milik are both absent with injuries in attack. Khephrem Thuram-Ulien is a doubt in midfield with a muscle injury.

Kenan Yildiz should shake off a knock to play in this match. Emil Holm has a calf injury at right back and may not feature. Juan Cabal will need a late fitness test at left back.

Juventus Motivation

Juventus want to finish in the top four. Their gap to Como is currently just five points, so they can’t afford to lose this match.

A draw in Milan would be a decent result. Luciano Spalletti favours an attacking style of play and will take the game to their opponents, even in any away game.
