Napoli Team News

Antonio Conte remains short of options in midfield. Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa, Kevin De Bruyne and Billy Gilmour are all out injured.

In attack, Romelu Lukaku is back in full training but won’t play more than a few minutes. Juan Jesus is doubtful at the back with a calf complaint.

Napoli Motivation

Conte’s side want to reach Monday’s final. They need a response to two defeats and will play to win this match.

An open approach won’t be seen. Napoli creates very few chances and will need to be ruthless with their finishing.

AC Milan Form

Milan are 14 matches unbeaten in Serie A since losing on the opening day of the season. They sit second in the table after dropping points in their last match. In all, their last 11 matches have seen five wins, five draws and a cup defeat.

They led a 2-0 lead slip in a 2-2 stalemate at Parma. A 1-0 win vs Inter Milan was a superb result, before beating Lazio 1-0. In a cup match against the same opponents six days later, AC Milan lost 1-0 at Lazio. They beat Torino 3-2 away but dropped points on Sunday in a disappointing 2-2 home draw against Sassuolo.

AC Milan Team News

Coach Max Allegri has some big question marks ahead of this match. Matteo Gabbia was taken off on Saturday with an injury and is a doubt in defence.

Youssouf Fofana is absent in central midfield and key attacker Rafael Leao has not trained in recent days. Santiago Gimenez is also ruled out in the forward areas.

AC Milan Motivation

Milan has had a slight dip of late, and they’re conceding too many goals and chances in recent weeks.

They will be confident of beating Napoli again in this match. Max Allegri is eager to lift this trophy and will pick his best XI.
