Arsenal vs Crystal Palace – Preview, Predictions and Best Bets

Arsenal host Crystal Palace in the English Premier League on Sunday.

The Gunners are flying high with seven wins in the last eight matches. The Eagles are winless in three matches since a 19-match unbeaten streak was ended.

Match: Arsenal vs Crystal Palace
When: Sunday, 26 Oct 2025

Arsenal Form

Arsenal are having a very consistent season. Their last eight matches have seen seven wins. The only match they failed to win was a 1-1 home draw vs Man City, where they netted a very late goal to equalise. A 2-0 win at Port Vale in the League Cup and a very late 2-1 win at Newcastle followed.

They have won four more matches since then. A 2-0 home win over Olympiakos and a 2-0 win over West Ham (21-4 shot count) followed. A narrow 1-0 win over Fulham last Saturday was followed by a 4-0 thrashing of Atletico Madrid in midweek. Arsenal scored four goals in 14 minutes in a second-half blitz.

Arsenal Team News

Mikel Arteta’s injury list includes only four long-term injuries in the forward areas. Noni Madueke, Gabriel Jesus, Kai Havertz and Martin Odegaard are absent for this match.

The coach must decide between Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard down the left wing. Myles Lewis-Skelly was outstanding in midweek but could be benched to allow the return of Riccardo Calafiori.

Arsenal Motivation

The Gunners will go all out to win this match to maintain their lead at the summit of the table.

Arsenal know the threat posed by Palace on the break, and could look to play defensively once leading in this match.

Crystal Palace Form

After winning the FA Cup last season and beginning this term with the Community Shield victory, Palace continued their fine form. A run of four wins in six matches extended an unbeaten run to 19 matches. That streak included a deserved 2-1 win over Liverpool and a 2-0 win at Dynamo Kiev in Poland.

They have had a slight dip since then. A 2-1 loss at Everton saw a 93rd-minute goal leaked to end their run without losing. Last weekend, they drew 3-3 at home to Bournemouth with 4.44 xG and 20 shots as Jean Philippe Mateta scored a hattrick. On Thursday, they lost 1-0 at home to AEK Larnaca in the Europa Conference League.

Crystal Palace Team News

Coach Oliver Glasner played close to his best XI in midweek. Cheick Doucoure remains absent in midfield and Chadi Riad is missing in defence.

Adam Wharton is set for a recall after featuring as a substitute in midweek. Chris Richards will also be recalled in the back three for this match.

Crystal Palace Motivation

The Eagles play a confident and front-foot game. They will take the game to Arsenal, as they did in beating Liverpool.

A draw at the Emirates would be a good result. They will want to avoid another defeat and a long-term slump setting in.
