Kaizer Chiefs confirms a loan deal for Ntwari

Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed that goalkeeper Fiacre Ntwari will spend the 2026/27 Betway Premiership season on loan at newly promoted Kruger United.

The Rwanda international joins the Mpumalanga-based club on a season-long deal in search of regular first-team football after a challenging spell at Naturena.

Ntwari arrived at Amakhosi ahead of the 2024/25 season but struggled for consistent game time, making just eight appearances in all competitions. During that period, he conceded seven goals while competing for the club’s number one spot.

The move offers the 26-year-old a fresh opportunity to revive his career, gain valuable playing time, and re-establish himself as a first-choice goalkeeper. At the same time, his arrival provides a boost to Kruger United as they prepare for their debut campaign in the PSL.

Chippa United signs Goodman Mosele from Pirates

Chippa United have beaten Durban City to the signature of midfielder Goodman Mosele after reaching an agreement with Orlando Pirates for his permanent transfer.

The 26-year-old was on the verge of joining City on a loan move before Chippa stepped in to hijack the move at the last minute.

Mosele joined Pirates from Baroka FC in July 2021 for an undisclosed fee but spent much of his spell at the Soweto giants on loan with United, where he became a regular feature in midfield.

During his time with Pirates, Mosele made 53 appearances across all competitions, while he featured 55 times for the Chilli Boys during his loan spells.

According to iDiski Times, Mosele linked up with United’s training camp in Gauteng on Tuesday night after the Eastern Cape club completed his signing for an undisclosed transfer fee.

Elias Mokwana is Set to Leave Esperance

South African winger Elias Mokwana is closing in on a permanent move away from Esperance Sportive de Tunis ahead of the 2026/27 season, with his departure from the Tunisian giants now appearing imminent, according to iDiski Times.

The 26-year-old spent last season on loan at Saudi Pro League side Al Hazem, where he enjoyed regular game time, scoring once and providing three assists in 26 league appearances.

Before his loan spell in Saudi Arabia, Mokwana impressed during his time with Esperance, registering seven goals and four assists in 38 appearances across all competitions. However, with the club reshaping its squad, the South African international is expected to secure a permanent transfer this window.

Algerian heavyweights MC Alger and JS Kabylie have both submitted official offers to Esperance, while clubs from the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, and Morocco’s Botola Pro League have also expressed interest and made enquiries over the club’s asking price.
