PSL Transfer: Chiefs hit snug with Phili, Mokoena attracts Saudi Clubs & More!

Get the latest news of the Premier Soccer League (PSL) transfer news, as teams continue to strengthen their squad ahead of the 2026/27 season.

Kaizer Chiefs are finding it hard to land the signature of Stellenbosch winger Langelihle Phili as the Maroons reportedly value the player for R16 million.

In early June, the Chiefs were reportedly showing interest in the 21-year-old and willing to bring him to Naturena. According to FARPOST, the Soweto giants have finally submitted their bid to Stellies that was rejected.

Amakhosi offered former Cape Winelands player Ashely Du Preez, George Matlou who has left the club and a substantial cash sum, but Stellenbosch rejected the offer.

However, Chiefs will not give up on pursuing Phili, as the club is hoping to find common ground with Stellies. It is also reported that rivals Orlando Pirates are showing interest in signing the player.
