Chiefs are set to compete with several clubs from Europe who are showing interest in Stellenbosch FC midfielder Langelihle Phili.
According to the player’s agent Glyn Binkin, the 21-year-old wants a new challenge in the upcoming season.
“There is a lot of interest both locally and abroad in Langelihle (Phili), all of which we are currently assessing,” Binkin said on Soccer Laduma.
“He has only one year remaining on his contract with Stellenbosch, so I am pretty confident that he will transfer this upcoming window.”
With his contract approaching its expiry and his impressive performances drawing interest from several clubs, Phili appears set to secure a move during the current transfer window.
Monare part ways with Sekhukhune United
Former Pirates midfielder Thanbang Monare left Sekhukhune United after two seasons with the club, according to Soccer Laduma.
The 36-year-old arrived at Babina Noko as a free agent from the Soweto giants and had a short, impactful spell with the Limpopo side. The central midfielder made 58 appearances with three goals, providing two assists for Sekhukhune.
Still, Babina Noko Bandile Shandu who recently parted ways with the Buccaneers, is reportedly on United’s radar according to Soccer Laduma.
