Fulham vs Arsenal – Preview, Predictions and Best Bets

Fulham host Arsenal on Saturday evening in the English Premier League.

The Gunners have won just once in their last four clashes with the Cottagers. Marco Silva’s side won their last two league matches at home.

Match: Fulham vs Arsenal
When: Saturday, 18 Oct 2025

Fulham Form

Fulham scored in the 96th minute to rescue a 1-1 draw on the opening day at Brighton. A 1-1 draw followed at home to Man Utd as they came from a goal down. After beating Bristol City 2-0 in the Carabao Cup, they lost 2-0 at Chelsea after some VAR controversy denied them a goal.

Three home wins followed. In the EPL, they beat Leeds 1-0 and Brentford 3-1 in strong displays. A 1-0 victory over Cambridge United in the League Cup came next. Fulham’s last two matches have seen 3-1 away league losses, at Aston Villa and at Bournemouth. They led 1-0 after 77 minutes at the Vitality Stadium.

Fulham Team News

Rodrigo Muniz is absent up front for Fulham, and right back Kenny Tete will play no role. Raul Jimenez did not feature for Mexico and needs a fitness test to determine his availability.

Sasa Lukic is a doubt in central midfield for Marco Silva. The coach could recall Antonee Robinson, whilst speedy wingers Kevin and Samuel Chukwueze are pushing for starts.

Fulham Motivation

The Cottagers tend to do very well against the top sides. They revel in the extra space afforded to them and usually play an attacking style.

Fulham will try to win this match. However, a draw is also a fine result and they may settle for one in the final 20 minutes.

Arsenal Form

Arsenal are having a strong season. They began with a 1-0 win at Man Utd despite allowing 22 shots. The Gunners beat Leeds 5-0 but conceded late to lose 1-0 at Liverpool. They responded with a 3-0 win over Nottingham Forest and 2-0 away victory at Athletic Bilbao in the Champions League.

An injury-time equaliser was needed to rescue a 1-1 draw at home with Man City before four wins on the bounce. A 2-0 success at Port Vale in the Carabao Cup preceded a deserved, late 2-1 comeback win at Newcastle. A 2-0 home win over Olympiakos and a 2-0 home league win over West Ham followed. Arsenal outshot the Hammers 21-4 in a one-sided affair.

Arsenal Team News

Mikel Arteta is without four attacking options for this match. Gabriel Jesus, Noni Madueke and Kai Havertz are out injured. Martin Odegaard withdrew from Norway duty due to a knee injury.

Piero Hincapie should return in defence, and Declan Rice has shaken off a knock sustained against West Ham. Eberechi Eze may play in the midfield three once again.

Arsenal Motivation

Arsenal can’t afford to drop any points. Their lead over Liverpool at the summit is just one point.

Arteta’s side will look to dominate, but they may sit back to protect any lead.

Key Stats

  • Fulham have seen both sides on target in 6 of their last 7 clashes vs Arsenal
  • Fulham have won their last 2 home league matches
  • Arsenal have just 1 win in 4 matches vs Fulham (1 loss, 2 draws)
  • Arsenal have won 7 of their last 9 EPL matches

Verdict

Arsenal look really good of late despite their injuries. Fulham are limited by injuries up front. I see a Gunners win by a 2-goal margin.

Best Bet: Arsenal win at 1.56

Value Bet: Arsenal win (-1 handicap) at 2.50

High Value Bet: Arsenal to win by exactly 2 goals margin at 4.33
