After a 19-game unbeaten run came to an end by losing 2-1 at Everton, Palace had a bit of a slump. They lost 1-0 at home to AEK Larnaca in the Europa Conference League, before putting up just one shot on target in a 1-0 defeat at Arsenal.

A fine run of form followed, as they won 3-0 at Liverpool in the Carabao Cup and beat Brentford 2-0 in the league. A 3-1 home win over AZ Alkmaar in the Conference League preceded a tight 0-0 home draw vs Brighton. Palace won 2-0 at Wolves last weekend before losing 2-1 at Strasbourg in midweek.

Coach Oliver Glasner is without midfielder Cheick Doucoure due to injury. Centre back Chadi Riad will also play no part. Adam Wharton went off injured on Thursday so Will Hughes could start.

Left wingback Borna Sosa is unavailable. There was some rotation in midweek so both Chris Richards and Daichi Kamada will return to the XI.
