The Clarets have jumped to 17^th in the EPL table after two recent wins. Their opening seven matches saw just four points accrued. After winning in round two, they lost four of their next five matches in the league. A 5-1 loss at Man City was followed by a 2-1 loss at Aston Villa. 

A 95th-minute goal from Lyle Foster sealed a 3-2 win at Wolves. Burnley lost 2-0 at home to Arsenal with just three shots all game. Their last match saw a 1-0 lead surrendered in a 3-2 defeat at West Ham as they allowed 3.02 xG.

Striker Armando Broja is back in training and may feature against his former club. Zeki Amdouni is injured long-term in the attack.

Coach Enzo Maresca is set to be without several injured players. Romeo Lavia and Cole Palmer are set to play no part in midfield, while Benoit Badiashile and Levi Colwill are injured at the back.

Rory Delap started the last game and could get another opportunity. Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez are among a South American contingent who could be left on the bench after extensive travelling.

The Blues will see nothing less than a win as a good result. They will try to attack and score early goals.
