TS Galaxy v Kaizer Chiefs – Preview, Predictions and Best Bets

The Rockets have won four of their five home matches this term. Amakhosi are winless in nine matches vs TS Galaxy with seven of those finishing in draws.
Match: TS Galaxy v Kaizer Chiefs
When: Sunday, 07 Dec 2025
TS Galaxy Form
The Rockets won four of their first seven PSL matches this season and sat fourth in the table at that stage. They’ve lost three of their six fixtures since then to drop to eighth in the table. On the road, it’s just eight points from eight games but they’ve taken 12 points from five matches at home (four wins).
A 2-1 loss at Magesi was followed by a 2-1 loss in the Carling Knockout Cup at Golden Arrows. They bounced back to beat bogey side Stellenbosch 2-0 before a narrow 1-0 defeat at Mamelodi Sundowns with just 23% possession. Galaxy put up 2.42 xG in a 2-1 home win over Golden Arrows before a tight 0-0 stalemate at Polokwane City last time out.
TS Galaxy Team News
TS Galaxy coach Adnan Beganovic has just one injury to deal with, in the shape of right back Patrick Fisher. There are no suspensions. He does have some big selection calls though.
Puso Dithejane is the division’s leader for goal contributions (four goals, seven assists) but was an unused substitute in the last match. He must decide between Frenchman Mehdi Ouamri and Junior Zindoga up front.
TS Galaxy Motivation
The Rockets will look to use their energetic, man-marking style in this match. They will look to attack, but won’t be bothered about possession numbers.
They will play to win this match. At home, they’re winning matches and playing with confidence.
Kaizer Chiefs Form
Amakhosi sit fifth in the PSL table and can move to third with a win. Their last seven league matches have yielded just two wins. After a four-match winless run in all competitions, they beat AS Simba 3-1 to progress in the CAF Confederations Cup. A late 1-0 win followed at Durban City after a late goal.
Chiefs thrashed Orbit College 4-1 as they netted four goals in a league match for the first time in over three years. Since then, they’re winless in three fixtures. A late 2-1 loss in Egypt to Al Masry preceded a fortunate 1-1 home draw vs Zamalek after a late goalkeeping howler to equalise. In midweek, they could only draw 0-0 at Chippa United despite having 17 shots.
Kaizer Chiefs Team News
Chiefs have a number of injury concerns. Rushwin Dortley is ruled out and both Bradley Cross and Aden McCarthy are major doubts in defence. Speedy winger Glodi Lilepo could be absent once again.
Gaston Sirino went off early against Zamalek and will need a late fitness test. Thabo Cele is another injury concern, but striker Khanyisa Mayo returned in midweek after a hamstring complaint.
Kaizer Chiefs Motivation
Chiefs will play to win this match. A draw would bring further pressure on their co-coaches ahead of the seven-week AFCON hiatus.
Amakhosi’s style of play is not particularly exciting and they may look to sit back and protect a lead if they can score first.
