Spurs are in dire form with four losses in their last eight matches. PSG lost on matchday four and have won just seven of their last 12 matches.

Match: PSG v Tottenham
When: Wednesday, 26 Nov 2025

PSG Form

PSG’s form has been slightly below par of late. Their last 12 matches have seen seven wins, with some cheap dropped points in Ligue 1 and a defeat in the Champions League. They beat Barcelona 2-1 in Spain before successive league draws. A 7-2 destruction of Leverkusen followed.

PSG 3-0 at Brest before a surprise 1-1 draw at Lorient. They beat Nice 1-0 thanks to a last-gasp goal but they lost 2-1 at home to Bayern Munich despite playing the second half vs ten men. Since that setback, they’ve won two league matches: 3-2 at ten-man Lyon and 3-0 at home to Le Havre with 31 shots and 3.46 xG.

PSG Team News

Coach Luis Enrique will be without key right back Achraf Hakimi due to injury. Desire Doue will miss this match in attack and Ousmane Dembele is a major doubt too.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Bradley Barcola both had partial rests in the last match. They will return to the XI for this one. Fabian Ruiz will also be recalled in the engine room.

PSG Motivation

PSG want to bounce back from losing to Barcelona. Motivation will be very high to win this match, and a draw would feel like a defeat.

Enrique’s side will look to totally dominate Tottenham. They will try to have 70% of the ball and will attack relentlessly.

Tottenham Form

Tottenham are in poor form right now. Besides losing four of their last eight matches, their attacking performances have been very disappointing. A 2-1 home loss to Aston Villa preceded a fortunate 0-0 draw in Monaco as they allowed 23 shots. A 3-0 win at Everton was followed by a 2-0 loss at Newcastle in the Carabao Cup.

A toothless 1-0 home defeat to Chelsea saw Spurs put up just 0.10 xG produced. They beat FC Copenhagen 4-0 before conceding very late to draw 2-2 at home to Man Utd. Sunday’s 4-1 loss to Arsenal in the North London derby saw just 0.07 xG produced going forward.

Tottenham Team News

Spurs are weakened by injuries and suspensions. Brennan Johnson is banned in attack and all of James Maddison, Dejan Kulusevski and Dominic Solanke are out injured.

Yves Bissouma is out injured and the match comes too soon for both Radu Dragusin and Ben Davies. Xavi Simons will hope to start against his former club.

Tottenham Motivation

Spurs would see a draw as being an outstanding result. They will have some confidence from their display in the UEFA Super Cup, where they drew 2-2 against PSG.

Thomas Frank must decide between a back five and a back four for this match. His team selection will give a big hint as to his approach.

Key Stats

  • PSG have won 12 of their 18 matches this season
  • PSG have scored 22 goals in their last 8 fixtures
  • Spurs have just 2 wins in their last 8 matches

Verdict
