French Open 2026: Semi-Finals and Finals to Watch This Weekend 

Grab your TV remote and get comfortable as Roland Garros is starting to wrap up. Over the next 48 hours, we’re getting the men’s singles semi-final, the men’s and women’s doubles semi-finals, and the women’s singles final. With these matches still to come, the race for this year’s Grand Slam title is more exciting than ever.  

Here’s everything you need to know about the biggest 2026 French Open matches are happening today and tomorrow.  

Men’s Singles Semi-Finals – Friday, 5 June  

Matteo Arnaldi vs Flavio Cobolli (2:30pm) 

An all-Italian showdown guarantees drama and good tennis. Both players have played excellently throughout the tournament so far and are just one win away from competing for their first Grand Slam title.  

Cobolli arrives with momentum after defeating Felix Auger-Aliassime in the quarter finals. This will be his first ever Grand Slam semi-final. Meanwhile, Arnaldi has continued his impressive run through the draw. He’s determined to make it through and win the biggest match of his career.

Jakub Mensik vs Alexander Zverev (3:30pm) 

It’s all about youth against experience as Jakub Mensik takes on Alexander Zverev in this semi-final clash.  

Mensik, who is only 20 years old, has been the one to watch in this Grand Slam. He has proven himself so far beating Joao Fonseca, Andrey Rublev, and Alex de Minaur, to name a few. 

But standing in his way is the highest-ranked player remaining in the draw, Zverev. For Zverev, this is his best chance yet to finally lift a major trophy.

Women’s Singles Final – Saturday, 6 June 

Maja Chwalinska vs Mirra Andreeva (3:00pm) 

The 2026 French Open women’s final promises excitement and drama as Maja Chwalinska takes on Mirra Andreeva. What adds to the excitement is the fact that this is both players’ first Grand Slam final.

Chwalinska’s story is truly remarkable. She has become the second qualifier ever in the Open Era to reach a Grand Slam final. So, whatever the outcome of this match, she has completed an incredible run throughout the draw.

Across the net will be 19-year-old Andreeva, who dominated straight-set victories over Marta Kostyuk. She’s the youngest Grand Slam finalist since 2022 and now stands a chance to win her first major title.  

So, with both players seeking their first major title, this final could be one of the most unpredictable matches in recent French Open history.

Men’s Double Semi-Finals – Friday, 5 June 

Marcel Granollers & Horacio Zeballos vs Simone Bolelli & Andrea Vavassori (12:00pm) 

Granollers and Zeballos take on Bolelli and Vavassori in this exciting Roland Garros doubles semi-final. Bolelli and Vavassori are looking to continue their pursuit for another Grand Slam final appearance. Granollers and Zeballos are looking to keep their title hopes alive.  

The winners of this match will go up against Heliovaara and Patten, who already made it through to the finals.  

Women’s Doubles Semi-Finals – Friday, 5 June  

Katerina Siniakova & Taylor Townsend vs Gabriela Dabrowski & Luisa Stefani (1:10pm) 

This semi-final will be a tough one due to the extensive experience of both sides of the court. Siniakova and Townsend are a powerful duo who aim to continue their impressive run in Paris.  

But they are up against Dabrowski and Stefani, legends in their own right. They have the experience to take on and challenge any team.  

This pairing is set to be one of the greatest matches of the day.

Shuko Aoyama & En Shuo Liang vs Anna Danilina & Aleksandra Krunic (2:20pm) 

Shuko Aoyama and En Shuo Liang take on Anna Danilina and Aleksandra Krunic in this semi-final battle. It promises to be a close match for a place in the French Open final.  

So, with the French Open reaching its final stages, this match means a lot to both teams.
