The tournament will feature the top 8 ranked youngsters on the ATP calendar, all vying for the championship title. However, last year’s winner, Joao Fonsesca, who defeated Learner Tien in the final, will be absent from the event due to a season-ending injury. Let’s review the preview.

Learner Tien

Learner Tien is poised to contend for the title in the upcoming tournament, capitalizing on his exceptional tennis display last year that culminated in a runner-up finish. In 2025, Tien made a profound impact on the tennis world, rapidly emerging as one of the most talented male players on tour. Tien commenced the year with a stellar performance at the Australian Open, reaching the fourth round. Notably, he achieved this feat despite being ranked 121st in the world and having to qualify for the main draw. Throughout the tournament, Tien secured victories against high-caliber players, including former finalist Daniil Medvedev in the second round. At 19, he achieved a historic milestone by becoming the second youngest American, after Pete Sampras, to accomplish this feat. Tien continued his exceptional form, culminating the year with his first ATP title at the Moselle Open. He finished the year ranked 28th in the world, a remarkable testament to his rise in the rankings.
