Wandile Duba signs a long-term deal

Kaizer Chiefs have tied down their development graduate Wandile Duba as the striker reached an agreement with the club to sign a new deal according to FARPOST.

The 21-year-old’s contract with Amakhosi was set to expire at the end of June. Duba is believed to have penned down a long-term deal with Chiefs.

The Piet Retief-born player has made 60 appearances with nine goals and five assists, winning the Nedbank Cup since he was promoted to the senior team.

Stil with the Chiefs the future of forward Ashely du Preez remains uncertain. Du Preez struggled with minutes in the previous campaign making just eight outings across all competitions.

According to reports, his former employers Stellenbosch FC are interested in re-signing the 28-year-old and the Soweto giants are willing to listen to offers.

With the Gold and Black looking for the service of Stellies Langelihle Phili, the speedy attacker could potentially form part of discussions between the two clubs.

Mamelodi Sundowns to sign Antonio van Wyk

The African champions Sundowns are believed to be closer in signing SV Ried attacker Antonio van Wyk.

The former Stellies player was linked with Downs before making his move to Austria in Europe.

According to SABC Sport, the talks between the two clubs are moving smoothly as they are looking to iron out a few details to conclude the deal.
