The former Arsenal goalkeeper produced several important interventions and kept a clean sheet, playing a key role in securing the victory.

He outshone Enzo Fernandez, Moises Caicedo and Reece James on the day, using the ball intelligently and rarely wasting possession. Ramsey also showed his physical side, getting stuck in and helping his side control the midfield battle.
Right Midfield: Jarrod Bowen (West Ham United)
Jarrod Bowen delivered a solid performance against a star-studded Manchester City side. He was composed on the ball, worked tirelessly throughout the match, and provided an excellent corner that led to Konstantinos Mavropanos’ goal.

The Brazilian was a constant threat, using his pace and intelligent movement to stretch Aston Villa’s defence and create space for his teammates. He scored to restore his side’s lead after the match had been level at 1-1, before Benjamin Sesko later added another.

Bruno Fernandes once again proved why he remains Manchester United’s standout performer. The Portuguese playmaker delivered another influential display and produced a brilliant pass for Matheus Cunha, which marked his 16th assist of the Premier League season. In doing so, he broke the club record previously held by David Beckham.
